Hawwa Concludes Two Training Courses in Computer Science and Management for the Local Councils

The Association concluded two training courses in administrative skills and computers science as part of the Kan`anite Home for Training and Development funded by Opec Fund and targeted twenty-seven trainee who are working in the local governorate councils, the first training course lasted for forty five training hours while the second course lasted for thirty four training hours, heads of villages and towns councils as well as their employees participated in these training courses.
The Association concluded two training courses in administrative skills and computers science as part of the Kan`anite Home for Training and Development funded by Opec Fund and targeted twenty-seven trainee who are working in the local governorate councils, the first training course lasted for forty five training hours while the second course lasted for thirty four training hours, heads of villages and towns councils as well as their employees participated in these training courses. Mr. Qutaiba Abu Ghunaim, the Projects Manager said that the Association cares about organizing such training courses that are necessary to improve and develop the skills of those who wined in the local elections last year, they are in need as he concluded to be well trained in time management, reporting, drafting, managing meetings, archiving, communication skills, public relations and leadership as well as strategic planning while they have learned the different computers skills of Windows and internet access as well as e-mail that will enable the trainees to have better communication with people and associations abroad. Such experiences and skills will offer the services to citizens and will contribute to the urban development in the region of Mrs. Ghada Abdul Hadi, Head of the Association said that the training of the employees of the local councils will lead to the improvement of the performance of local councils and make the best investment of the available facilities; time and money, she added that many of the projects were implemented in these councils that are lacking the administrative development in its performance in order to meet the councils priorities. It is worthy mentioning that experts and instructors from An-Najah National University lectured in these courses, the local councils are lacking the experienced cadres and the qualified experts as a result of the focusing on the political and family background in the local elections instead of the professional skills that make it hard for the administrations to develop their projects without getting such training.
